Pierre-Elie de Pibrac is a French photographer born in Paris in 1983 who has developed a distinctive photographic style across multiple acclaimed projects, including "American Showcase", "In Situ" (documenting the Paris Opera Ballet), "Real Life Super Heroes", "Desmemoria" (about Cuban sugar workers), and "Hakanai Sonzai" (exploring individual identity in Japanese society), with his work consistently pushing the boundaries of photographic perception and winning numerous prestigious awards such as the Prix Levallois, Prix HIP, and being nominated for awards like the Prix Niépce and Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize, while being represented by the VU' Agency and Anne-Laure Buffard gallery.
