Data base of Hebrew shipping is based on the book: "75 Years of Hebrew Shipping in Eretz Israel" by Capt. H Yarkoni. This is an index of all the ships in the Israel Registry and before it, ships owned by Jews, in the British Mandate of Palestine Registry since 1927.
For each ship the technical particulars and if possible a photo and a short story of that particular ship is displayed. The mark "-" means that the data is, at present, not known.
Due to various reasons, some ships, particularly bulk carriers and tankers but also some others, sailed under Flags of Convenience, commanded by Israeli Masters and with Israeli crews.
