New Illustrations of Old Fairy Tales
March 12 - September 14, 2005
Curator: Eva Lieber
The fact that fairy tales are universal, transcending time and place, enabled each of the illustrators to create "new fairy tales" with new messages consistent with the present times. The exhibition is a celebration of color and imagination, refuting widely held stereotypes pertaining to the traditional fairy tale. It paves the way to new possibilities, and serves as a source of inspiration in the socialization process of 21st century child.
This exhibition is a joint venture of Bet Ariela Cultural Center and tje Israel Association of Illustrators.
