Community Projects at the
Haifa Museums
The Education Department at the Haifa Museums mediates between the museums and various sectors of the community. Within this framework, the Department initiates and organizes community projects that are largely related to different cultural themes, and which are designed for a range of populations: the special needs population, new and veteran immigrants, Jews and Arabs, children, adolescents and senior citizens.
Our goal is to create an educational sphere based on sharing and involvement, on dialogue and on assuming responsibility. We encourage different populations, including adolescents living in Haifa, to volunteer for projects geared towards the education of autonomous and idealistic people who are willing to contribute to others.
