About

The Hermann Struck Collection is among the most important of Haifa Museum of Art's treasures. It comprises some 500 works by Struck and his pupils in Israel and abroad, among them Lovis Corinth, Max Slevogt, Max Lieberman, and others. The works encompass the spectrum of Struck's interests, both from the Berlin days and after his immigration - portraits, scenes from his travels, images from WWI, the landscapes and local types of Israel. Strucks' works are in various techniques, including etching, lithograph, silk-screen and woodblock printing, oils, and others.
