Roee Menachem Markovich
Roee Menachem Markovich presents a series of short events, which he describes as "The ends of the world, disasters, or small, annoying accidents." The frozen situations, which capture a pastoral world that collapses in a matter of seconds, exist against a backdrop that does not attempt to look real, and which is composed of simple materials. Transparent cords connect its different parts to one another, imitating the aesthetic characteristic of special effects in low-budget films. The exposure of the used to simulate a collapse neutralizes the fear that normally arises under such disastrous circumstances.
